How often should Florida homes get each type?
Florida humidity, sand, and long fan seasons mean dust and mildew build up faster than in many other places.
| Home | Standard cleaning | Deep cleaning |
|---|---|---|
| Family home with kids or pets | Weekly or every two weeks | Every three to four months |
| Couple or single professional | Every two weeks | Twice a year |
| Condo or seasonal home | Monthly or during your stay | Before and after each season |
| Vacation rental | Between every stay | Two to four times a year |
What signs tell you it is time for a deep clean?
If you notice two or more of these, a deep cleaning will make the biggest difference.
- Dust on ceiling fans, vents, and blinds
- Dark lines in shower grout
- Grease on cabinet fronts near the stove
- Gray edges along baseboards
- A home that has been closed for the season
- Guests or a big event coming soon
Which one should you book?
Choose deep cleaning for a first visit, after a busy season, or before a big event. Choose standard cleaning to maintain a home that was recently deep cleaned.
What do clients ask about deep and standard cleaning?
Short answers to the questions we hear most. For anything else, give us a call.
Do I need a deep cleaning first?
For most homes, yes. It sets a clean starting point, and standard visits keep it there.
How long does each one take?
A standard cleaning usually takes two to four hours, and a deep cleaning takes four to eight.
Can I add deep cleaning tasks to a standard visit?
Yes. Baseboards, inside the oven, inside the fridge, and interior windows can be added to any standard visit.
Is a deep cleaning the same as a move-out cleaning?
A move-out cleaning includes everything in a deep cleaning, plus the inside of every cabinet, drawer, closet, and appliance in an empty home.
